BDSM (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

I am amazed on how much press and attention 50 Shades Of Grey is getting.   I want to preface this by saying I have not read the book but have an understanding of it.

People are talking about it everywhere like the lifestyle never existed and they talk about it as if they were talking about their shopping list.  It seems like just a few months ago if you mentioned BDSM in a group the look you would receive was one of curiosity and you must be a freak in some way.

I’m not a freak, I am in love a deep love with my Master and she is the most wonderful thing that could of ever happened to me.

Are these people who are talking about the book playing this out in their real life or keeping the fantasy to themselves?  Maybe they will play the fantasy out and like it, maybe they will take it to the next level, maybe they will never do it again.

If you are one of those people who are interested in this I suggest reading some of the great blogs on wordpress.  Learn the basics especially pain and safe words, remember that as dominant or submissive it’s out of love you do what you do.  Anyone can have sex, anyone can have someone take a paddle to their ass.

I also suggest checking out the Stockroom in Los Angeles where you can get some great products and it’s all very good quality.  The stuff they store at the local adult shop lasts a little while but there is nothing like being tied up with quality restraints.

Just remember the most unconditional love you can give to someone is the gift of you to them.  The trust that it takes is enormous the rewards are gigantic.
